What is the process for stair replacement
After initial contact, we will meet with you to discuss your ideas, whereupon we can advise you based on our experience. Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements we survey the area and take some initial measurements. We then produce a detailed drawing with our suppliers and return to site to check all measurements, design, etc. with you.
The stair case is manufactured for delivery usually within 6 weeks. Once we take delivery, we check the stairs for any defects (very rarely do we have any issues at this stage), and arrange with you a start date.
The first day we remove your existing stairs, and start the installation of the new one. This will be the only day you will be without a full stair access to the 1st floor, however where necessary we can fit temporary access. The following 4-5 days we complete the installation, during this time you can safely use the stairs. We don't rush the project, our highly skilled carpenters take their time and finish the project to exacting standards, which they are very proud of, to ensure you are fully satisfied.
